Your Sacrifice Will Speak for You
God will never leave you with nothing. He is able to take what looks like nothing and turn it into something meaningful, fruitful, and glorious.
Sometimes God will ask something of you, but what He gives in return can be far greater than what you surrendered. When He blesses you, you must also have the wisdom, discipline, and commitment to maintain what He has placed in your hands.
There are seasons when your commitment will be tested. You must remain faithful and pass the test as a victor.
God is specific about sacrifice. Therefore, be careful and prayerful about what you call a sacrifice. True sacrifice must come from faith, obedience, and trust in God.
Sometimes, in order to go up, you must be willing to give something up.
Sacrifice can be painful, but obedience can produce great rewards.
God is a provider. What you place before Him in obedience is never wasted.
Your sacrifice has a voice. It first speaks to you by revealing the condition of your heart, and then it can speak for you as a testimony of your faithfulness before God.
Sacrifice gets your attention, changes your priorities, and demonstrates what you truly value. And when God rewards obedience, the testimony can become greater and louder than the sacrifice that produced it.
What you surrender today may become a testimony that speaks to generations after you.
Continue to present yourself to God faithfully. Do what God has placed in your hands, and trust Him to do what only He can do.
Wanting something does not automatically mean you are entitled to it. Many meaningful things in life require a price—discipline, consistency, patience, courage, prayer, learning, sacrifice, and sometimes sleepless nights.
There will also be battles along the way. Opposition does not always mean you are failing. Sometimes resistance comes because you are moving toward something valuable.
Take inventory of your life. Examine where you are, where you are going, and what must change. Be willing to pay the necessary price for growth and for a better future.
I have learned that some pain must be endured because nobody can make certain sacrifices on my behalf. There are decisions I must make for myself. There are disciplines I must embrace for myself. There are steps of faith that nobody else can take for me.
My sacrifice has a voice.
It speaks of my commitment.
It speaks of my faith.
It speaks of my obedience.
It unlocks doors that my strength alone cannot open.
I will embrace the sacrifice God requires of me and trust Him with the reward.
I will do my part, and I will trust God to do His part.
My sacrifice will not be wasted.
My obedience will produce fruit.
My testimony will speak louder than my pain.
And the blessing will extend beyond me to generations to come.
